Miscellaneous, e.g., hobbies, sports, personal info, etc.
- I enjoy spending time outdoors, birding, biking, hiking, gardening, identifying plants, taking pictures, and learning as much as I can about God′s amazing creation. I also enjoy traveling, both in the U.S. and abroad. Among my favorite trips were a class trip to Costa Rica with students in my Nature Studies class and a tour of the Philippines and Malaysia with the Genevans (the college choir).
- I am an active member of Christ Presbyterian Church (PCA)where I serve on the mission committee and VBS staff and participate in summer missions each year.
- One of my greatest joys in teaching at Geneva is helping students understand the love that God has for all of his creation and the privilege we Christians have to learn about it, care for it, and serve it in a way that honors God above all.
- Every year I look forward to sending students to study at Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies in the summer, and hearing their stories when they return. They always come back with smiles on their faces and a renewed enthusiasm for learning and for putting their faith and knowledge into practice in the service of Christ and the care of his creation.
